Container service
The container is where the money is made or lost.
Material that gets mixed on the floor cannot be un-mixed at the scale. We size and place containers around how your process actually generates scrap — then pick them up on a schedule that fits your production, not our route.
01
Roll-off containers
Placed on your yard or dropped for a single project.
- 10-60 cubic yard roll-off
- The workhorse for mixed ferrous, plant cleanouts and construction scrap. Sized to your dock and your volume.
- Sealed roll-off
- Lidded and locked for weather-sensitive or theft-prone material - copper, wire and non-ferrous.

02
Trailers
For bulk volume and oversized pieces.
- Van trailers
- Enclosed, dock-height loading for packaged and palletized scrap.
- Open-top trailers
- Overhead loading by crane or forklift for long and awkward pieces.
- Flatbed trailers
- Oversized structural steel, vessels and machinery that will not fit in a box.
- End dump trailers
- High-volume loose ferrous moved efficiently on the highway.

03
In-plant containers
Sized for the point of generation, so material is separated before it is ever mixed.
- Self-dumping hoppers
- Forklift-handled hoppers that empty into a larger container without manual handling.
- 4x4 Gaylord boxes & pallets
- Corrugated bulk boxes for clean, high-value non-ferrous right at the machine.
- IBC totes
- Contained handling for turnings, borings and fines.
- 55-gallon drums
- Point-of-generation separation for small, high-value streams.
- Specialized containers
- Custom metal bins built to your footprint, weight and process. Special order.

Tarps and roll-off container lids provided as needed.
Short-term work
A single project does not need a program.
Temporary containers for line moves, plant closures and job sites. Live loading when a drop-and-swap will not work for your schedule. Call it, we place it, we pull it when you are done.

Questions
Container questions we get asked
- What size roll-off containers does Custom Recycling provide?
- Roll-offs from 10 to 60 cubic yards, including sealed units with lids for weather-sensitive or theft-prone material. Size is matched to your dock access and how fast the material accumulates, not to a standard offering.
- Can I have containers placed inside my plant?
- Yes — that is usually where the value is. Self-dumping hoppers, 4x4 Gaylord boxes, IBC totes, 55-gallon drums and custom-built metal bins go at the point of generation so streams stay separate before they can be mixed.
- Do you supply lids and tarps?
- Yes. Tarps and roll-off container lids are provided as needed, at no separate charge.
- Can you build a container to fit a specific footprint?
- Yes. Custom metal bins are a special order built to your footprint, weight and process — common where a machine cell has an awkward clearance or a specific fork pocket requirement.
